Privacy Policy

This policy covers every Dreamlet Games app: Snowman Summer, Hill Shaper, Shade Day, Boat to Goat, Glisso, Melango and Spot Clinic. It explains what each one collects, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little: Hill Shaper collects nothing at all; Boat to Goat, Snowman Summer and Shade Day use analytics services from their publisher, Voodoo (Snowman Summer also sends a little to our own server for its record board); and Glisso, Melango and Spot Clinic, in the versions that include Voodoo's measurement tools, are described on their own pages.

Hill Shaper

Hill Shaper collects nothing. It does not use the internet, and it sends nothing to us or to anyone else. Your progress, best scores and settings are kept only on your device, and they are removed when you uninstall the game.

Shade Day

Versions of Shade Day published with Voodoo use Voodoo's analytics tools to learn how the game is played. The information below is collected automatically while you play. Your levels and settings stay on your device, and the game sends nothing to our own server. The game shows no ads, has no accounts and sells nothing. Earlier versions, without these tools, collect nothing; updating the game brings the tools described here.

• Services: Voodoo TinySauce (Voodoo Analytics), GameAnalytics, Adjust and the Facebook SDK (App Events, from Meta).
• What they collect: approximate location worked out from your IP address (never your precise location); crash logs, diagnostics and app performance; in-game actions (when a level starts and ends, whether it was solved, and how it was played, such as hints, undo, restarts and leaving a level); and device or other identifiers, including your device's advertising ID.
• Why, and who receives it: it is collected and shared with Voodoo and the service providers above, to make the game work, to understand how it is played and improve it, for advertising and marketing (measuring which campaigns bring players to the game), to prevent fraud and keep the game secure, and to personalise the experience. Each handles it under its own privacy policy, linked in the Boat to Goat section below.
• Consent in the EU and EEA. When the game first opens in the European Union or the European Economic Area, it asks for your consent. You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Privacy in the game.
• Advertising ID. You can reset or delete it in your device's settings (on Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Settings › Google › Ads). Uninstalling the game stops all collection.

Deleting your Shade Day data

To have the data collected about you in Shade Day deleted, write to support@dreamletgames.com with the subject "Shade Day data deletion". Because the game has no accounts, please include your device's advertising ID if you can, so the data can be found. We will act on your request within 30 days, together with Voodoo and the service providers listed above, and tell you when it is done.

Boat to Goat

Boat to Goat is published with Voodoo, and it uses Voodoo's analytics tools to learn how the game is played. Its levels, stars and settings stay on your device; the information below is collected automatically while you play. The game shows no ads, has no accounts and sells nothing.

Services it uses

• Voodoo TinySauce (Voodoo Analytics), from Voodoo, the game's publisher.
• GameAnalytics, for gameplay statistics.
• Adjust, for install measurement.
• Facebook SDK (App Events), from Meta, for install and gameplay measurement.

What it collects

• Approximate location, worked out from your IP address (country or city, never your precise location).
• Crash logs, diagnostics and app performance, such as errors, loading times and the device model and operating system.
• In-game actions: when a level starts and ends, and the stars earned.
• Device or other identifiers, including your device's advertising ID.

Why, and who receives it

This information is collected and shared with Voodoo and with the service providers above. It is used to make the game work, to understand how it is played and improve it, for advertising and marketing (measuring which campaigns bring players to the game), to prevent fraud and keep the game secure, and to personalise the experience. Voodoo and each provider handle it under their own privacy policies:

Your choices

• Consent in the EU and EEA. When the game first opens in the European Union or the European Economic Area, it asks for your consent. You can change your choice at any time with the GDPR button in the game's menu.
• Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings (on Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Settings › Google › Ads).
• Stopping collection. Uninstalling the game stops all collection.

Deleting your Boat to Goat data

To have the data collected about you in Boat to Goat deleted, write to support@dreamletgames.com with the subject "Boat to Goat data deletion". Because the game has no accounts, please include your device's advertising ID if you can, so the data can be found. We will act on your request within 30 days, together with Voodoo and the service providers listed above, and tell you when it is done.

Glisso

From version 1.1.14, Glisso is made available in partnership with Voodoo and includes Voodoo's measurement tool (TinySauce) and the analytics and measurement services it works with. Melango

Snowman Summer

Snowman Summer sends information to two places: to our own server, for its online record board and to learn how the game is played; and to Voodoo, its publisher, through Voodoo's analytics tools. Its streets, stars, best runs and settings stay on your device. The game shows no ads and sells nothing.

What it sends to our server

• A player ID. When the game is first opened it makes a random ID and stores it on the device. It is not linked to your name, e-mail, phone number or any account.
• A nickname. If you choose to appear on the record board, you pick a nickname. It is shown to other players next to your score. Do not use your real name if you do not want it shown.
• Scores. The result of each run you choose to submit: score, distance and the level reached, with the time it was sent.
• Gameplay events. The game notes a few things about how it is played and sends them to our server under the same random player ID: that a session started and how long it lasted, whether the tutorial was finished or skipped, and how each run ended (score, distance, level, duration), plus the game's version, the operating system version and a short description of any error the game ran into. There is nothing personal in these notes.
• Technical data. Our server keeps the IP address of each score submission for a limited time, only to stop abuse (spam and cheating). No address is kept with gameplay events.

Why we collect it

To run the record board (to show you where you stand among all players, and to show the top players their nickname and score) and to understand how the game is played, so we can make it better: for example, where players find it too hard, or whether the tutorial helps. We do not sell or share what reaches our server with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

On our own server in the European Union. Records on your device (your personal best runs and settings) stay on your device. Everything the game sends travels encrypted (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

Scores and nicknames stay on the board as long as the game exists. Gameplay events are kept for up to 2 years. IP addresses are deleted after 90 days.

Your choices

• You can play without ever submitting a score.
• You can change your nickname in the game at any time.
• To have your scores, nickname and gameplay events removed, write to us with the nickname you used and, so we can tell you apart from anyone with the same nickname, your best score or roughly when you last played. We will delete them within 30 days.

Voodoo's analytics in Snowman Summer

Snowman Summer is published with Voodoo, and it uses the same tools as Boat to Goat to learn how the game is played. The information below is collected automatically while you play.

• Services: Voodoo TinySauce (Voodoo Analytics), GameAnalytics, Adjust and the Facebook SDK (App Events, from Meta).
• What they collect: approximate location worked out from your IP address (never your precise location); crash logs, diagnostics and app performance; in-game actions (when a street or an Endless run starts and ends, the stars earned and the score); and device or other identifiers, including your device's advertising ID.
• Why, and who receives it: it is collected and shared with Voodoo and the service providers above, to make the game work, to understand how it is played and improve it, for advertising and marketing (measuring which campaigns bring players to the game), to prevent fraud and keep the game secure, and to personalise the experience. Each handles it under its own privacy policy, linked in the Boat to Goat section above.

We will act on your request within 30 days, on our server and together with Voodoo and the service providers listed above, and tell you when it is done.

What none of our games collect

• No accounts, passwords, e-mail addresses or contacts.
• No precise location.
• No ads are shown in any of our games at this time.
• Apart from Boat to Goat, Snowman Summer and Shade Day, and Glisso, Melango and Spot Clinic as described on their own pages: no advertising identifiers, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and no tracking across apps or websites. If this changes for any game, this policy will be updated first.

Children

The content of our games is suitable for all ages. Apart from Boat to Goat, Snowman Summer and Shade Day, and Glisso, Melango and Spot Clinic as described on their own pages, they collect nothing that identifies a person or a device. Boat to Goat, Snowman Summer and Shade Day are not directed at children under 13. We still ask parents to help younger players choose a nickname that does not reveal who they are.
